Horrible service department. Very poorly organized. Never returns calls. Don't go there.

do not go here. Do not buy anything from here because if you do, you can be sure that you're gonna have an issue. it's easy to buy some thing from a Carismatic sales person this promise you that they will take care of you with empty platitudes. I picked up my Volvo C40 EV and noticed that someone riffled through by center console and took a small neoprene bag. When I went back to talk to Klaus he reminded me that I signed a form that Volvo assumed no responsibility of theft and missing items. When I went to pull the larger neoprene bag in the back of my SUV out to show him what the small bag look like, guess what, they stole that too. Does it seem like a rip-off to take your car to the service department of a dealership for a problem that came up right after warranty expired, when the dealer serviced the car right before, and the dealer tells you that they will not even look at the car unless you pay $250 for a diagnostic? For a problem that turned out to be readily visible to the naked eye? I do. I have owned two Volvos and had both of them serviced at Santa Monica Volvo. I went there with every intention to buy a car. The sales staff was arrogant condescending basically the most unprofessional group of people I have ever come across.
Believe everyone who is saying stay away from this service department. My break fluid light came on and they kept my car for more than a month guessing through what the cause be. On an almost daily basis their haphazard approach presented more issues and more delays. A complimentary rental was only offered to me when I hit the month mark of having to wait. I finally got my car back and about a week later the same issue is back. Finding a new service location with a better track record.
Don't use this service. don't go there. They are stealing our personal items from our cars. My Bank of America checkbook and expensive perfume were stolen from my car today. And it's an official Volvo service!
Wow, so I leased this car in MAY. Yesterday -- it's now SEPTEMBER -- I got a notice from the DMV saying I was late paying my registration on my old car I traded in to Volvo, AND owe a late fee. Volvo bought my old car from me in MAY. THEY NEVER FILED ANY OF THE PAPERWORK. I am so freaking tired of this. Never in my life have I encountered the LEVEL OF COMPLETE INCOMPETENCE AND NEGLIGENCE as in the title and license "department" of this dealership. My 8 year old could do better. I posted already. I am still waiting for the service manager to call me back. Maybe Priscilla did not give them the message? Although she was very clear that they would call me when they have time. I will call my salesman and will have to go to another dealer for volvo. They are nice only if you are buying a car.
