I went to Volvo to get my car serviced. I kindly, alerted them beforehand that I wasn't going to be wearing a mask (due to reasons that are none of anyone's business) and they were very accommodating and treated me with respect and care. I got my car serviced, they replaced a recalled part, everyone that helped me was kind and helpful. It was refreshing to deal with a major company without any type of harassment or negative attitude towards me because of my condition. Robert is a world-class service rep. He's honest and forthright (doesn't sugarcoat) and always makes sure to communicate with me as progress is being made on my car. I have been dealing with a bunch of unexpected issues with my used vehicle, but Robert has gone above and beyond to keep me a happy Volvo customer. This man deserves all the praise (and raise) in the world!

First, let me start by saying this review does not refer to the service department. I go to the Volvo closer to my house for service so I can't comment on that aspect of this dealership. I recently purchased a Volvo V90. Lambert and John were great. They worked out financing, trade in (which was very fair!) and arranged for me to take the car home same day. I recently took the car in for regular maintenance and Robert at the service department was equally as nice and helpful. They definitely have a well run and friendly operation on there.

I just leased a Volvo XC90 t5 inscription and I have to say I was very pleased with the customer service. John Kozin was very helpful and not pushy at all. He answered all our questions and was very professional. I had to bring all three of my kids into the dealership and he was not one bit annoyed. In fact he went and got them juice and gave them pastries. John also delivered the car to my place and helped pair my phone to the car and showed me all the features. I wish every dealership was ran like Volvo of SM. Unbelievable service from Tony Towns and Michael Giorgio! So friendly, transparent, easy, and not to mention funny. As a woman, often dealerships try to take advantage of you but this experience was the type you wish you had in every dealership, yet rarely get. This is a very positive review for John Kozin and Santa Monica Volvo. Let's face it: for most people, buying or leasing a new car is one of life's all time most stress-inducing events. At least it is for me: Maybe that explains why I've kept my BMW for twenty years before finally leasing my new SUV from Santa Monica Volvo. Had a great experience here and got a very reasonable deal. Jeff Williams is the best car sales person I've ever worked with. Took his time with us and showed us everything we wanted. He fought for us to get a great deal, was super knowledgeable, and very pleasant to work with!!
