really unfortunate experience after getting towed here for a flat late on Saturday night. without getting into all the details, although this is a toyota maintenance center, they cannot fix tires on-site + were also unable (or unwilling) to provide or sell spares for toyota hybrids which don't come with a spare. they were also not knowledgable about using the official toyota sealant tire repair kit (which comes in the trunk for all toyotas). this is sketchy since the kit is pretty basic and you are supposed to dispose of/ret... read more

We have been loyal customers for years but after our most recent experience will not be returning. They did my repair incorrectly and lied about it. In addition when we called to discuss status they repeatedly put us on hold or directed us to voice mail.

Poorest service ever. I have a fleet car. Made that crystal clear when I set the 7:30 appointment. This location doesn't take fleet cars but their other location does. What's the difference? Why wasn't I told. Sometimes people can be so careless and thoughtless

The worst customer service experience you can get. Both the guys at the front desk of the service center are unprofessional and talk to you in a condescending tone.

I went in for regular maintenance - oil change, etc. They told me my vehicle would be done at 4:30, and so scheduled dinner with my girlfriend, who I rarely get to see. I got called at 4:45, was told that the van would come in 30-40 minutes to pick me up. I finally got picked up at 5:50, just getting there as they were closing at 6. I made multiple calls during all this to find out what was happening. My girlfriend gave up and went home. An hour and a half wait time beyond what they said!

If Toyota of Berkeley is how one buys a used car these days I'm screwed. I've driven by this Toyota dealer many a time so when I found myself in the East Bay looking at cars, making a stop at this freeway adjacent dealership seemed to be a no-brainer. I wandered the lot and was happy to find that almost every car in it had a price tag, a description, and most important, was unlocked. Nice; I can get inside without anyone helping me. But what if I was actually interested in driving one of these cars? What if I wanted... read more

Nice guys BUT, called twice to verify 100,000 tune up cost. And one more time before I showed up. Got there and they said I was quoted the wrong one. Charged 2X the original quote. Then suggested another 4-500 in repairs which may or may not be required... I'll get back to you on that one. How could they not get the 100,000 mile quote right....after THREE calls!!! Josh.... good dude....

It's amazing how car dealerships and service centers find so many ways to make you feel that you're being cheated out of what's due. I bought a used Toyota Prius from these guys and they promised: - car mats (then reneged after I had signed the paperwork) - free 3 services (which then turned into oil changes only + one of the service Trey didn't even top up the fluids) Well, this is how they push their customers to work with other mechanics rather than go to the dealership for service! Well done, good bye!!

We used to get our service done at One Toyota of Oakland which was a really great experience. When we moved to Albany I brought my car in without thinking that dealership service could be so drastically different. I was very wrong. This was a horrible experience!! Never take your car here for service! All we needed was an oil change and they "cracked" the oil housing and tried to charge us for it. When I asked to see the new housing that they supposedly put in the service manger refused! HE REFUSED TO SHOW ME THE PART HE WAS... read more
