I had the worst service here in my life. I brought my 2020 Tacoma in for service and was harassed by the salesman in the front who kept asking me if I wanted to sell my truck. He repeatedly asked me even though I kindly declined more than twice already. On top of harassment, the scheduled maintenance for my vehicle was completed after they drove my truck off the lot for over an hour. As my truck came back to the lot I asked the porter if they had serviced my truck and he tell me no. I got super upset and explained my conce... read more
Don't go to this place unless you want inferior products and bad service. I bought a battery from Toyota of Berkeley (Albany location) in March 2021. In November the battery was dead. The battery would not take a charge so I had AAA tow it to Toyota service center. Both AAA and Toyota determined that the battery was bad. However Toyota refused to replace the battery unless I paid them $900 to replace my alternator too. I refused and took it to another place. A battery should not die within a year and Toyota should have repl... read more
I took my car in for a 60,000 mile major tune up. I was billed for things I don't have like fuel injection cleaning. The real topper is my car is now leaking something? When I took it back I was told we are too busy to look at it now?? What kind of service is that! They seem disorganized and only one guy knows any thing. Don't have much of a training system. How long would it have taken someone to look at it? I can't drive the car not knowing what may run dry what plug or drain didn't get closed. We have an ugly mess on ou... read more
Took my car in for a routine maintenance and inspection back in May. I had experienced some A/C issues prior and figured they'd pick it up during their multi-point inspection. Long story short, it turned into a brake pad replacement on top of it, and oil change that ended up being around $800 dollars. I'm driving my car and noticed that the A/C still isn't working correctly. Reading up on the issue, I have good reason to believe it's the air exchange door jamming up or not working properly. I bring my car into today and they... read more
This place is a ripoff. My headlight kept going out, and I knew it was a wiring issue, just didn't know where. They estimated it would cost us $500 to replace the driver's side headlight fixture in my car, and realign the headlight, which aims at the ground after the car was hit, which was fine. They needed to identify and find the listed issues. Then, it only took 6 hours, which felt odd. I show up, they changed the bulbs, a single wire, and want $1000. They didn't realign or replace any substantial parts. Fuck you Toyota.
They forgot to put my car back together after my 5000 mile servicing.... How? I got home and had to go back for them to finish connecting the wires for the rear seats. Missing stuff is pretty understandable but what kind of bugged me is that the whole time, from the phone call to come back till the time I got in my car I wasn't offered a single apology. Unfortunate
Came in for an oil change, but They want to upsale me to run some hybrid battery test for $3k. This is some shady business.
They were super helpful when I came in for something quick, and making a service appointment was very easy. However, the service I came in for later was way overpriced, even by Bay Area standards. They upsold me to a ridiculous amount and were dismissive and condescending to me when I voiced my concerns. I won't be back.
You can't get through to make an service appointment. We have three Toyota's and getting them serviced is very difficult at this dealership. They do not answer their phones. You can be on hold for 20 minutes or more and no one picks up. When you leave messages, they don't call back. Even if you leave a message in the the service managers in box. The only way to get an appointment is to drive in and make the appointment. They absolutely could care less about customer service. We have even driven down to Stevens Creek Toyota ... read more
