Took my car in due to having a recall on my passenger air bag. Set up the appointment and the gentleman I spoke with was great on the phone set up the appointment 2 weeks ago was told that it would take a couple hours. My appointment was at 9:00 had it there before my appointment time. Got my paperwork after checking in was told should be ready sometime in the afternoon. Once again, I have received terrible customer service from this dealership. I don't even plan on taking it in if there wasn't another dealership within 100,000 miles. The first time I take my car in for an oil change, they send me a text that my car is ready. I leave work for an early lunch (which is seriously 4 minutes away), my car isn't ready. I would not recommend this dealership because of Paul Shamo. I witnessed his true character on Lake St. Clair today. Due to his inability to control his emotions, as well as have an adult conversation, I certainly would never do business with someone like this. The fact that he conducted himself in this manner, in front of children on his own boat, certainly reinforces his poor character. I recommend you find someone else to give your hard earned money to. My husband and I bought a 2014 Ford F150 from Taylor Ford in 2016. A few months after purchasing the vehicle it began making a squealing noise. We returned the vehicle to Taylor Ford and they insisted nothing was wrong. Now 3 years later it has been discovered what the problem is and Taylor Ford will not cover it. For 3 years our F150 has been making the squealing noise and it took our oil change place to discover what the problem was.
I bought used 2018 explorer from Brent sukel and was promised floor mats almost 2 months later no floor mats. I don’t recommend Taylor Ford. Go to Jack Denmer.
Just picked up my car after they had it for 5 days. Got it home to find a big screw from a car body in the tire. Called them and they told me there are a lot of thing laying in the road and they would have to look at it before they would fix it at no charge. Won’t be back there
feel like I got TAKEN, thought I took a good look at.truck when I came and test drove it after buying it being around it I saw some imperfections in paint on passenger bottom of the bed like it had been repaired a bad repair because it is dull and also scratches (I like to hand wash my cars ANDTHATS WHEN I SEEN.but.wasnt able to DO SOONER becouse of weather.)I thought were scuffs but later found that whoever had truck before me used some type of paint to cover the deep scratches and there are other concerns about this truck ... read more
They could hire professionals that really want to do their job. I had an appointment with Jamie Miller to turn in a leased 2017 Edge for a 2019 Edge. I explained what I was looking for, so we walked the lot. Hardly any inventory. She said, there just isn’t any 2019 Edges out there. She also told me that the ST only comes in the blue.
