The service department at Taylor Ford has to be the most incompetent group I have ever had to deal with. You can schedule an appointment just to be told one lie after another. They will order parts for your car and then install them on some other car. I have had multiple bad experiences with the service department over the years. Now on a positive note my salesman is awesome(Don Moon). It is a shame that such a good sales staff has to loose future business because of a horrible service department.
Today I bought my car in for service. The first thing Ed ,told me there is a 3.5 hour wait. Ok so do I need to make an appointment? No he said .So I asked what is the alternative ? He said Monday-Friday, this is mon-fri so again what is the alternative no service? I did not feel welcomed !
Dealership ordered a custom item from HiOnLumens. Custom item was built to their order and shipped to them in the time frame which was agreed upon with Bob Smith/ Dominic Silvey Bob Smith then asks for tracking number, we send tracking numbers and he sees the package has shipped and thanks us. Bob Smith/Dominic Silvey then does a chargeback on his company credit card while the product is in route to this dealership. I stopped in Taylor Ford to get a price for a oil change, I was told there was two different prices, I asked for a brochure or literature showing what my options are, he said they had nothing, I stated I wanted full synthetic, I was told it would be between 80 or 100, they knew what vehicle I had, so I asked what would it be 80 or 100, refused to give me an answer, I find that awfully odd they can do so many oil changes a day for years and not yet have a price for it, Felt like they were only trying to rip me off once they g... read more
Avoid this place at all costs, very unprofessional and rude.
Taylor Ford is very unprofessional.... I had the worst service ever there. They gave me the run-around for a week and a half. The sales person (Dan Kontor) I was working with and he's person trying to get me the loan flat out told me to go across the street to Taylor Chevrolet because they couldn't do nothing to help me. The buying experience with Chris was good. However, I never heard back from him regarding the vent he was going to try to have fixed. About a month after buying my car the engine light came on. made an appointment with the service department and it was an absolutely terrible experience from the moment we dropped the car off until the moment we picked it up. What i thought was a great experience quickly turned into a nightmare when i was leased a “demo” car that was never detailed, i had told the sales man that it wasn’t detailed, but it didn’t seem like a priority to him. On my first drive home in my new vehicle i broke out in hives, from what im guessing was the dog hair in the car, as I’m allergic to pet dander. I turned my lease into this dealership and they did not take care of the tire like they said they would, now I have a balance due. I called the dealership and talked to them about turning my lease in. I explained that I had the spare on the truck but that I had the tire warranty. I let them know what Belle Tire would charge and they said come in they would take care of it. Well, they turned the car to the lease inspector and now I have a bill. Poor customer service.
