Took my F150 in for a service and my rims ended up scratched. The service writer Eddie G. and service Mng. Both assured me they would repair my rims. It's been two months and both have ghosted me. Will not take my calls or return my calls. I have reached out over 15+ times and they are never there or out to lunch no matter what time I call. I even left a message asking them just to tell me they don't want to keep their word and I can stop wasting my time calling them.
You take your car to a dealership service department expecting a high price, but you also expect a high degree of service. It's the promise of a "Ford Certified" maintenance experience. I brought my car in for a routine service recall and opted to have an oil change performed simultaneously. Upon receiving my vehicle, I discovered that the drivers side hood strut was damaged, and after returning home, I noticed oil leaking from the oil plug, which had not been properly tightened. Service department is terrible. I bought my vehicle from this dealer specifically because of the promised superior service. What I got was broken promises and WEEKS to even get a response to the texts. Don't trust the service manager when she says she'll make it right. She'll ignore you too.
I grew up with FORD and have had a long line of H/P mustangs. The last two have been lemons! The worst part is dealing with warranty issues and the service dept. and service mgr. Warranty work takes a back seat and was a complete NIGHTMARE! You try to go to upper mgmt. to no avail.....you think because it's a dealership that they have top of the line mechanics? LOL! that's simply not the case...if you have been unlucky enough to buy a FORD what ever you do DONT take it to STAR FORD!!
Unfortunately, this is yet another poor review for the service dept. There was a couple of "misunderstandings" and after 2 1/2 days at the service center we FINALLY received an e-mail (6:30 evening) with an absolutely astronomical "estimate" for work that needed to be done. We immediately responded (7pm evening) that we would be picking up the car (to take home) the next morning. Made a service appointment for 7:30am on Monday for a warranty issue on a truck that was purchased from Star Ford in February. By Wednesday morning the truck had not been looked at and was still in line for "diagnosis". After attempting phone calls with nothing returned, I had to text my service advisor and was told they need 1-2 days to diagnose the vehicle, it was day three and they had not looked at it. I recently reviewed this dealership after purchasing a new Ford Maverick. All went well until post sale. I contacted my salesman, Vincent, with questions concerning the operation of the vehicle. Not only did he lack knowledge, he did not even attempt to find any specific answers. He basically Ignored my contact. I would not recommend him as a detailed, knowledgeable salesman.
Incompetence and laziness are run this dealership. They seem to be too cheap and foolish to make a sale. Rather than get $25k cash and a trade in they would rather try to charge you more to fix the things that are wrong with the car. This place is a joke, stay away. Total trash salesman who work with you 0%.
