I'm only writing this because 1) Toyota of Berkeley kept emailing me asking for feedback, and 2) Jazz Singh insisted that I write a Yelp review but I forgot to for 3 weeks. Everyone here was really nice and patient, answering all of my many questions. But of course, as I would expect from any sales team, they were nice in that somewhat artificial way so they can sell you stuff. I had a great experience buying a used car here. Jazz Singh took care of us and made it an easy experience overall. I wasn't looking forward to buying a used car as some salesman can be very pushy which actually makes me want to just get up and leave. However, Jazz Singh was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We're very happy with our purchase and experience working with Toyota of Berkeley.

Jaswinder Singh and Rudy Padilla made my first time buying a car from a dealership (as opposed to Craigslist, auction, etc.) easy and fun. Both were very welcoming and professional, and I appreciated the lack of the usual upsell and high pressure sales tactics I encountered at other Toyota dealerships (such as Downtown Oakland and Walnut Creek). I knew what car I wanted and had done a ton of research about the make and model beforehand. They had a used ("certified pre-owned" in newspeak) 2017 Rav4 hybrid with 25 k miles on it. It was a corpo-car so not a lot of wear and tear. Jazz , the salesman, was outstanding in terms of answering questions and listening to specifics. I brought my Toyota in to the Toyota of Berkeley's I-80 Junction location in Albany a few times while I was living in California. The workers were very knowledgable and friendly and helped me find workable solutions to some of the not so major problems with my car. One example is that my radio was having static with occasional bursts of sound making it through, but not working for the most part. Just went to this location in Albany and I received thee BEST service! I want to shout out Michelle in the parts department and Jasmine in the service department! The two of them really made my visit so easy breezy and enjoyable! I needed to purchase coolant and a new battery for my key and Michelle was on it! The service adviser, Jose Ochoa was very professional and went above and beyond to meet my request for services needed for the used car I purchased.
