When I can get service the quality is fine. The problem is getting through to someone on the telephone or getting someone to return messages. That is abysmal!!!

Hi. I’ve tried multiple voicemails, text messages, and I’ve emailed the finance department. So I’m hoping this will get a response. I need to speak with the service department regarding my telluride. I was told to call back after vacation in June to get a time set up to bring my telluride in to have the parts fixed but I haven’t been able to speak with anyone. Our car has been at Gossett Kia South for almost four months waiting to be serviced. It’s near impossible to get ahold of them. When I do get through, nobody can give me any answers as to when our service will be started, let alone completed, and they refuse to make it up to us with a rental, tow to another shop, or money off the total. We’ve had terrible experiences with both Gossett Kia service centers and will be moving our Kia to a different shop to perform services. .I was forced to schedule an appointment two months ago because they didnt take walk ins during the week I was told. I show up for a 730 appointment and im still here 4 hours later just for an oil change and tire rotation. It took them an hour to take my car back and at this moment i believe they have pulled my car out 30+mins ago but im still sitting here waiting. Worst first service appointment, ever. Took my brand-new vehicle in for service, March 30. No one called me all day to let me know it was done. I showed up to pick up my car late afternoon and they scratched by hatch down to metal and wipers are messed up. I brought this to their attention and they took photos as I did and said someone would get back to me on Friday. It is now more than a week later and I have heard nothing. This is even after following up with an email.

Do not take your KIA to Gossett in Memphis for any service. I was lied to telling me that it would take months to get parts and get my engine replaced under warranty. It took me finding a number to Kia to open a case and get my new motor shipped to the dealer in a week and half. No one in the service department returns your calls and when you do get someone on the phone, the person you are trying to reach has always just gone to lunch or away from.their desk. In June 2022, we special ordered a Kia Carnival and was required to put a down payment on the vehicle. We live over 2 hours away and told the salesperson that we would like to have the deal complete when the vehicle came in over the phone so we could just come sign papers and pick the vehicle up. That was agreed to by the salesperson. In December, the vehicle arrived and was told we had 7 days to complete everything and pick up the vehicle or we would lose it and our deposit ($1000) .
