Do NOT buy used (even if it’s supposedly used once). They claimed to fix the problems because it was noted before purchase. Well we bought a 2019 in 2020. They supposedly fixed the problems. They did. They took the inside panels off and refuse to fix it. If we go trade it in for brand new they’ll help you. Buy from General trailer or Good Sams. This was my second mistake from terry town. Run don’t walk.
We recently bought a 2021Jayco Jay flight from the grand Rapids location and have had nothing but issues with the service received. We took our first camping trip this weekend and 2 days before the trip discovered the furnace would not blow hot air. Called the service department immediately to let them know as camper is under warranty plus we paid extra for the extended warranty which also covers mobile service. -My Trailer was with Terry Town for 6 months. - I had a list of items that needed to be fixed but the main reason I brought my trailers in was for my refrigerator to be replaced has it did not work all of 2020 summer. -My fridge was NOT replaced, nor do I think they even tested it appropriately. Purchased the unit new last year, had several items that needed to be fixed- including a bubble in the floor which turns out to be an issue with under-flooring being uneven and the also black water tank flush among multiple smaller issues. I have had it in multiple times and not all things are yet still fixed. Items have been shipped to me so that I can fix them myself. By returning service calls, we have left two messages with an answering machine saying they call back within 48 hours, that was 72 hours ago.
Bought a so called brand new rockwood high wall 296. They couldn’t open it up because of the cold weather. When I opened the camper for the first time found 14 damaged items. From hole in canvas Shower curtain and mid curtain screws for the tracks ripped out of the ceiling. 2 rippers ripped off of the windows. Cabinet door and one of the draws has heavy scratches. Precalled told sales person the 5th we wanted drove 2hr just for the sales person to not have it ready to see then ask us how set we are on that on because he can't open it he didn't have a jump box
they are dishonest. sold me a salvage unit under totally false representation. Bob Well the salesman is not to be trusted.. and than The finance manager Victoria lie under oath and Tom the owner general manager care only about money and cover the deal by accepting that it is OK to lie if you have the attorney put wording in your sale contract that make it OK The most dishonest dealership In the business.
