I purchased new 2021 salem villa 42dl last summer. This was my 3rd new purchase in the past 10 years but my first and last purchase at terry town. It was by far the worst buying experience I have ever had. Without going into all of the details my advice to anyone thinking of buying from here is don’t believe anything they say. Don’t expect any help from the service department on warranty issues and buy from somewhere else This will also be posted on our campground Facebook page
RecommendedTerrible customer service. I am so disappointed. I have contacted the service department so many times via telephone and email since June... I finally get a service guy that seemed to go out his way to be helpful. Fast forward to tonight, I email this person to try and schedule an on-site repair for the original issue and the recall notice I just received (I paid extra for this service), the response I receive is," I no longer work in Service I have accepted another position in the company" REALLY????? you can't forw... read more
All good tell we wanted warranty work. Very bad work and they don't seam to know or care if its done correct. also was sold a extended warranty because I believed what the sales man/finance guy told me when I got home and read the warranty it was not at all what he said I did get my money back
been trying to buy a rv from this business for almost 2 months and keep getting the run around even left a msg with the general manager and he refuses to call us back. we put money down on a camper and that apparently doesn't matter either. not sure if they treat all their customers like this or if it's just me and my wife.
Horrible and I do mean horrible customer support. I paid cash for my camper and it was a complete lemon and they’ve done nothing to make it right. I should have never bought one there. I highly recommend people go else where. The entire thing has been a nightmare
Went and looked at a camper. Decided we liked it but, had a few things that needed updated. Spoke with two different salesmen about what I wanted. Updated steps, and awnings over the slide outs. Both salesmen spoke to the manager and came back saying they would throw them in free of charge also a fifth wheel hitch. Sweet we’ve got a deal. We came to an agreement on the price ($49,900) we put a deposit on it that day. With the understanding that they needed a week to get the parts in and installed. No problem. Service department is terrible. All my problems were not resolved, sent 2 emails , left 3 voicemail to the service girl. I never heard back. I don't plan to return
Sales personal was good except the kid who showed us our camper. He obviously did not know the unit and could not answer most of our questions. Service took our weight distribution system off our old camper and put it on our new camper. They did not check to see if the camper would ride level when towing. As it turned out, the camper was nose down when towing. Nobody, including the sales guy said a word to us about it. Now I have to adjust the hitch myself. Terry Town has a decent selection, and ultimately good pricing. The first salesman I spoke with explained the unusually high qouted price was because we were the only one that had it in stock still (2021 Covid) so they we're admittedly gouging our customers because they could. I was a little shocked by the blatant honesty. I hit up a second on line salesman, and that went alot better. However, post sale was just ridiculous. We never met the salesman.
