RecommendedI wouldn’t recommend Terrytown to any of my friends or family, or heck even a complete stranger! Back in August my husband and I were shown a camper (that was not yet to be for sale because it needed to be fixed first). This place is full of conmen especially Dylan Downs. My wife and I were going to buy a new toy hauler from this guy and his team and we worked out a deal but things started to seem weird once he kept pushing the pickup date. We figured he was taking some options off because he pushed the pickup date out for over 2 weeks but I never thought he would try and screw me and sell me the wrong unit with a diff vin number!!! Selection was good and they had the unit we were looking for and the sales process was mostly good until we arrived to pick up the unit after traveling several states to pick it up. At our scheduled appointment time the unit was not ready, we did a quick inspection and noticed several items of concern which were begrudging corrected. We paid a $1,895.00 dealer prep fee to make sure all the components of the unit were correct and functioning. Stay far away from this place think twice before going there. The sales delivery process is by far the worst I have ever experienced. Ryan the salesman neglected to submit my bank voucher to there finance department for the purchase. After being assured everything was all set I booked my airfare from Florida to Grand Rapids Michigan for the delivery. To find out it wasn’t ready and filthy and it didn’t matter since it will get dirty in my trip home anyway!!!! ( Seriously). The battery was stone dead and not functional .
I wouldn’t recommend ever buying or servicing here. First issue, they forgot to order our camper. I called every 2-3 weeks to check on status and they always put me on hold and then came back saying A-OK… until our camper was due to be shipped and then surprise, it was never ordered. Once our camper finally came in, it was full of issues. Not their fault, they didn’t build it. They did charge us $400 to do a walk around, where they found 0 issues, even though our roof had a hole. I can never recommend purchasing a camper from here. I purchased a 2013 Jayco Flight SLX 165 RB from them and I haved nothing but problems with it. THEY DO NOT INSPECT THE TRADE-IN CAMPERS. I HAD THEM ROLL DOWN THE AWNING AND IT WAS ROTTED WITH HOLES EVERY WHERE. THEY GAVE ME A VISA CARD FOR $250 TO PURCHASE A NEW ONE. I ALSO HAD TO REPLACE THE MECHANISIM AT THE FRONT THAT YOU TURN TO RISE TO ATTACH THE CAMPER TO THE BALL. THE HOT WATER HEATER HAS NEVER WORKED RIGHT. SO NOW I HAVE TO PURCHASE A NEW ONE.
