I really don’t want to elaborate on my experience with Melton. It started out well but after that the customer service went way down and I will probably not deal with your dealership anymore.
Firs t2013 Chrylser van took test drive. When i came back the van was smoking and leaking fluid from transmission. They cancelled contract on that vehicle. Sold me a newer one with more miles. 2017 Dodge Caravan. Do not care for the color, The 2017 did not have as many nice features as the 2013 Chrysler. Dealer should do a better inspection and test drive on used vehicles so buyers like me won't be so unhappy and disappointed.
Considering how rushed it was with everything, my car not being cleaned like it should because of timing, rushing me in just to make a sale the same day knowing when I got there they were supposed to close In 30 minutes, salesman keeping a belonging of mine that was on the back of my car to replace it with the dealerships decal instead of putting my own one on that he took off. Well a family friend bought a truck few months ago and liked the dealer ship. So my wife and I thought we would give Melton a try. Baley treated us good and I thought sales Manager was being fair. The final negotiation was price, bedliner, tinted window, and life time oil change. But after we left and got home I notice it said free oil change but not life time. So when I said something about to Baley he said we don’t do life time oil changes. He should have told me that up front.
Took truck in for an electrical problem which they fixed. Got it back with a broken driveshaft and cracked transfer case along with $130 invoice.
Toni is a very nice guy but his response time is very poor. The problem is still not fixed after bringing it in three times. I have a lemon of a truck but the service guys basically just replaced parts without actually listening to me and what I told them
This dealerships services department is SERIOUSLY LACKING! I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. I took my car in for service, they “rigged” the fix to get by. Had to make an appointment to get what they rigged fixed, and they “lost our number” to call and tell us it was ready. Even though we had an appointment, we had to call them days later to find out it was ready. I know they have our number on file as we’ve used them several times before. Since they’ve changed management it’s gotten bad!
I was told I would have a loaner vehicle when I made the appointment. No vehicle was available. I waited over 2 hours and I finally asked about my vehicle. I sat outside and called my husband to come get me. When I picked my vehicle up the next day, they hadn’t changed the oil which I requested they do as soon as I left it. That meant another trip back into town! Very frustrated!!!!!
The service waiting area should be updated and improved. Also, I do not understand why there is a "minimum" number of words for this section.
