Horrible Experience Took a week to even xxxxx the issues with my car. Then sent me to body shop, then my car sat there for a week. I ended up turning my car back in and buying a Ford Explorer after making 3 car payments and only driving my car a total of 6 weeks in 3 months. Horrible customer service. Lazy people, no follow up unless I called, then manager would avoid my calls. He would have them tell me he was in meetings, when I knew that wasn’t true. Yes, but Although Lakeland Volkswagen has always been very good to me and have done service on all my VWs well, my current car a 2018 Tiguan SE has been nothing but trouble since I bought it and for the same problem. Gougers. 12:30 appointment to replace small radiator fan. Left dealer at 2:40 after paying a $286.00 labor bill plus parts and $40.00 shop supplies. Before repair was quoted $567.60 plus tax.total invoice was $650.14... In 2 hours we payed 286.00 labor. $143.00 per hour. If they worked over one hour I would be surprised. in the two hours we were there we did not get a price until 2:00 pm. That is gouging in my mind. Bad customer service Lousy communication about car status. Just made excuses for all the problems. Didn't do all the service on this visit due to terrible scheduling so I need to take it back again. Very unimpressive. Do not schedule your appointment online because they don't read the notes and don't prepare parts in advance.
Great sales people, horrible managment team At VW Lakeland, we worked with both managers: Larry Riddle (finance) and Charles Draper (sales manager) - both professionally UNPROFESSIONAL, untrustworthy individuals with unethical strategies and tactics. Wait time was horrible Lindsay Baker was very kind and the only good part of the service . The wait was ridiculously long and then came to me with a ridiculously over inflated repair recommendation. I literally stood for 30 min in front door bringing car in with no help at all and I was there nearly 3 hours for an oil change. Had dirt marks on my hood and handle and was told car was being washed and it never was washed at all after waiting an additional 30 min to do so.
Dissatisfied Spent nearly 3000.00 and it still wasn't fixed. I work in maintenance and I feel they didn't know what was wrong so they just kept changing parts and charged me for them plus labor.
Deceptive and condescending I have been taking my car to this dealer for three years. I had an issue in the morning, called the service center andspoke with john who said they could take the car and would look at it today. I dropped it off at 9am and checked in with Lindsay. All subsequent communication was with Lindsay. At 5pm they had bot looked at it. I did not receive a call, but called them.
