Gateway Kia Sales Managers need to learn to be respectful, value customers time and be upfront. We were made to sit around for over 2 hrs, stalling over and over again. Finally when I approached the sales manager, he ignored me as he was too busy berating a co worker. Then he finally looked up and acted surprised. When I asked what was happening, he tells me the sales consultant will be out soon when it was apparent that the sales person had left for the day. The most sleazy car salesmen I have come across. I negotiated on phone and we had a verbal price agreement, I confirmed 5 times and very clearly said I don't want to come in if we have to negotiate. They repeatedly assured me we had a deal. When I show up, I am once again assured we have a deal and I am made to sit for 90mins. Then the head sales guy comes and starts giving me a new price and re-negotiate from scratch. Never seen such a bunch of unprofessionals. Some of their arguments were bordering on comical. I called this morning to say thank you again for cleaning my car eventhough I only got an oil change and air put in my tires to find out the man who takes care of me every time, Jose, doesn't work there anymore. ( I was there yesterday and he said nothing about leaving so assuming he was fired) Everything else about this place is awful so I will be following him wherever he went to

Kia has been nothing but a disappointment since I bought my first optima. I originally bought the car from Lakewood and started going to Freehold dealership because it was closer to home. The customer service Freehold gave to its customers was horrendous which brought me to Gateway Kia in north Brunswick. It must run in the Kia family because not one of these people care about their customers and the problems there vehicles cause us. I traded my 2012 optima for a 2016 optima from north Brunswick. Went to test drive a car and get an idea what payment would be . I made it clear I wasn't ready to do anything. The salesman called me 7 times in 24 hours. It was bordering on harassment . I told him harassing me is never going to get me to buy a car from you. When I'm ready I will NOT be buying a car here.

Sales people reminds me of sharks just hustle and never stops to ask what the customer needs. Service center is slow, painfully slow. They tell you they fixed or did something and next thing you know, it needs to be done again.

terrible service. they fix something and then a year later, you're back at square one. and then when you go back so they can check it out, it costs $120 just to check the problem! then they want to slap you with the cost + labor!!! i will never purchase a kia again! they have horrible customer service and whatever they fix, breaks! so what's the point!!!

They promised us a certain price when we first went in. When we came back a couple days later, lo and behold certain incentives disappeared and now they couldn't honor their price. Will never recommend this dealer to anyone.

HORRENDOUS EXPERIENCE! Went in to look at the Kia Rio five door. The car was gorgeous, the salesman (Vito) seemed nice enough at first, talking about how he wants to find the right car for me, not stretch my budget, etc. Went on a test drive, all was good. The car was fully loaded, and stickered at around $21k. They claim "$5000 off any car!" but in reality, there is a BS $4000 package on EVERY car which includes an iPod cable, pin striping, and floors mats (retail value, maybe $100 tops).
