Very disappointed with this dealership! Made a deal over the phone on Sat 9/3 with Zeke for a Rav4 in transit. Gave him debit card info for reservation fee that he didn't run right away. Just found out this morning (Tue 9/6) that they sold it to someone else. They were closed Sun & Mon, but apparently someone at the dealership reserved it for another customer after hours Sat afternoon or evening while Zeke sat on our deal.
Very rude people and WAY over priced !!!!!
I called Friday, 7/3 after a poor experience in Warren and when inquiring about the 2020 Prius Prime via telephone, the salesperson didn’t know if he had one in the lot and said he would call me back shortly. He called me back hours later and said they didn’t have any and the best I could do is keep checking the inventory on the website. Long and behold, Metro Toyota in Cleveland had one, I test drove it, they offered to drive to New York and get one after pulling specs, and I bought it. Thank you Metro Toyota! This dealership stinks!! I have bought a lot of used cars in my life and this experience was ridiculous. The salesman knew nothing about the car. Granted I bought a used Ford Explorer at a Toyota dealership but it was really sad what he didn't know. The oil change light was on and they didn't know how to get it off so they just left it on. I am amazed this dealer has a 4.5 star overall rating. I've never had a worse experience buying a vehicle, and I've purchased a lot, currently own 4 and a travel trailer!! Not only was the salesman, Dave Hogue (Internet Sales Mgr...Mgr??!!!), blunt & a complete jerk to my husband but also to the credit union loan officer who we know very well. never been here before. they just had the misfortune of popping up on my facebook page several times.
Treated me like I was trash. I will never recommend them or go there again. Please note all I wanted to do was to test drive a Rav 4 and when I told the person the amount I wanted to spend which was high $270's with $0 I was all but escorted to the door even after I expressed my interest in still test driving.
