To whom it may concern, I purchased a used Kia Niro from the Gossett Kia on Covington Pike in June of 2019. I was very pleased with my purchase and my sales experience. I was assured that the car was driven minimally by it's previous owner as evidenced by the low mileage and that it had a recent oil change and the brakes had been replaced. My son's 2015 KIA Soul has been losing an exorbitant amount of oil. We started coming to Gossett KIA almost a year ago to "track" and document the problem. Since that time the 3 people reviewing his case have all left so my wife and I went it 3 weeks ago. the first (only) gentlemen in the service department, never looked up, was impatient, rude and basically shrugged us off. My front bumper was falling off the other day and went to Dealership to have them replace a bolt to secure front bumper. They told me to make a appointment to have bolt installed on bumper. 14,000 miles on car. WHAT HAPPEN TO CUSTOMER SERVICE? Want need bolt when bumper falls off!!😔😔😔
Improvements can be made by training some employees in decent customer service. Brandon refused to return phone calls and was outright rude when he did answer the phone. My car was there for 21 days. Let's start with saying that this was the good dealership. Not the case anymore. I called during the week to schedule an appointment to have the dash pulled to locate an intermittent short. I was told to bring my car here at 7 am Saturday morning. Brandon informed me on my arrival that they couldn't solve the problems for 2-3 weeks. The worse customer service at the service department. Service advisors are rude and unprofessional. I would definitely not recommend Covington Pike location nor Mount Moriah. Managers are just as bad as employees.
I had the unfortunate experience of being towed to the Covington Pike location from roadside assistance company. While waiting for the tow, I called the Kia service department to inquire about a new tire. Based on my phone conversation with Brandon W. I should have known my face to face experience would be negative. Gossett, please make sure replacement parts are readily available for the newest vehicles you're selling. I bought a 2017 Kia Sportage in December and it was in an accident in January. Cordova Collision has had my Sportage since January and says they're still waiting on a replacement part from Kia. We're into the 3rd month of waiting for a part which seems an excessive amount of time. I made a service appointment online and received a confirmation email. When I arrived 5 minutes early there were already 6 or 7 cars waiting for the service department to open the doors. No problem I thought, I have a confirmed appointment for 7 am. WRONG! The service man tells me Saturday is only first come first served and that it would be hours before my turn. If there are no appointments allowed on Saturdays, do not allow someone to make one and receive a confirmation from Kia. I do not like being deceived!
