Caitlin was great and did a great job for me. She deserves a higher rating. It’s the rest of the sales team, mainly Tony the sale manager. He has treated me poorly, disrespected me by pretty much laughing in my face, not caring about my time at all, sees my messages and ignores them, tells me how he lost $5000 on my deal ( which I know is xx) the car has been sitting on the lot for a very long time! Called the day before my appointment to schedule the happy hour oil change special and take care of a nail in my tire through a road hazard package. I discussed in detail the services needed with the woman who took my call. She told me it would be $64 out the door for the oil change and they'd check the tire and let me know. Coast GMC has been my only maintenance choice for the last two years. I’ve always been very satisfied with the care and service provided. My latest visit was anything but satisfactory. On February 5, I made an appointment at Coast GMC for an oil change, tire rotation and to reset a warning indicator on the dashboard. The Service Agent told me they would “run a diagnostic” on the warning indicator. On October 26 2024, I was sold a 2014 Honda Civic, that was advertised for $10,900, at Coast Buick dealership in Newport Richey.I was hoping they drop the price, but instead the car salesman Marty, told me they would drop the interest rate from 17% to 10.9%. Then they included their dealer fees, putting the car total cost was $12,900. The finance manager Marc showed me, what my payment plan with gap insurance & a warranty would look like. BUYER BEWARE. COAST BUICK GMC IN PORT RICHEY FLORIDA CANT BE TRUSTED. I PREVIOUS WROTE A REVIEW WITH 5 STARS HOWEVER THE VERY NEXT DAY WE FINALLY WERE SHOWN THE DETAIL OF OUR PURCHASE PRICE OF $86,600 AFTER NUMEROUS ATTEMPTS TO GET ANSWERS WE WERE GIVEN DETAIL OF ADDITIONAL FEES THAT WERE NOT DISCLOSED. I QUESTIONED AT TIME OF SIGNED BECAUSE PURCHASE PRICE WAS MUCH HIGH THAN EXPECTED. Would not recommend having your car repaired here Nor would I buy car from. I hope they see this and quit calling me to get my buick serviced. I would pay to tow it to Tasco buick, before I let coast buick touch it.
Please read before going to this dealership for service. Absolutely the worst communication on your vehicle while being serviced and unprofessional service manager I’ve ever talked with. I brought my vehicle in for service at 8am on a Tuesday. It needed an oil change and I had a few other issues I wanted checked. Took 2 days to diagnose the vehicle and me calling several times with my advisor screening calls instead of calling to give updates. We were visiting Florida from West Virginia. Our 2021 Buick Enclave had a tire with a nail in it. It was losing air. When we took it in to Coadt Buick. After having it on a hoist for an hour, we asked when they were going to remove the tire. A gentleman came back and said they couldn’t fix it. We had to buy a new tire for $249. We had them take it off the rack and we left. We went to a competitor. They patched the tire and placed a liner in it free of charge! Coast Buick tried to ripe us off by not fixing it. I went in for service within warranty with a “service brake pad monitor” notice on my console. I was told it was fixed but the notice reappeared within five miles. Brought it back and they said they would replace the brake pads and sensor as the sensor is in the brake pad but they had to order the parts. Received a call from the dealer that it was not on warranty as it is maintenance. My brake pads are at 90% per Travis yet gmc will not warranty.
