My wife and I had not purchased a new car in over 10 years. We decided to check out the new VWs at Lakeland Volkswagen. Jose met us at the door and was very helpful and knowledgeable, after check the size of the Jetta we opted for the larger Passat with the I5 engine. Lakeland VW had a used 2005 Pontiac Vibe listed on Cars.com that I was interested in. I contacted the dealer using the form on Cars.com. I asked two specific questions. What was the asking price of the car and what was their dealer fee? They answered both questions promptly and Marina Nikovic, their Internet Manager, followed up with me the next day on the phone to see if I had any other questions. I stop to make an appointment to have my 2012cc 40000 service, while waiting I was viewing the new Passats. Mr Colon approached me and asked if he could assist me in any way, I told him that I was in for service on my cc and would be dropping it off in three days. He asked if it would be ok if he arranged for me to drive a Passat while my car was in service? Because he was not pushy or flamboyant I agreed . A great experience...found the Beetle convertible on web search...wanted to see it up close and personal...happy for local dealership! Rick Jones was freindly, informative, easy to talk too...even came in early to work for us so I could test drive the car "again"...also drove a new convertible but wanted a second car so the better buy was the 2009 gekko green bug...SWEET!
