Had a very bad experience with lies from sales people !! Never heard of a place tell you had to have an appointment, and at least 2 units in mind for purchase, if I’m spending hundreds of dollars at this location, I’ll pick the one when it seems to fit our needs !!! Buyers Beware !! Not spending any of my money here !!

A few weeks ago we had an incident that damaged the generator door cover to our 2004 Jayco motorhome. We took the door to Gillette’s service department, and the gentleman there said he would contact Jayco and get back to us the next day as to whether a replacement door was available. When we hadn’t heard anything in two days, my husband called them and reminded the gentleman that he was supposed to be checking with Jayco. He again said he would check and call us. No I would not recommend Gillette’s I’m sorry to say. Upon buying a new Terry Classic camper ( great design by Heartland btw ), I had to return with some manufacturer issues. First being a light on the outside of the camper. Simple enough but the installer just placed the rubber gasket on top of the switch and after he walked away I touched it to test it and it fell off. When we arrived at Gillette Interstate RV to pick up our brand new unit the slide did not work properly. It is the slide with the refrigerator. Our Salesman Mike Taravella immediately stated that it was not their problem it was Jayco's since they were the manufacturer. Our salesman spent a total of 3 minutes passing us along to someone else to assist us. The technicians worked all day on it replacing wiring harness and swapping out motors, to no avail. Salesman mike is the worst buying experience ever. Even received phone call and text message threatening me for leaving a bad review. Don’t deal with these guys
First time campers. We were excited about our first camper. Purchased a “new” heartland camper. We are out of state buyers. Salesman assured me the do the most comprehensive prep of any rv dealers in the area. He needed a week to do it. When we went to pick up the camper it had just been washed in the shop and the shop floor was wet. I couldn’t look under the camper nor did I know I needed to because I didn’t want to lay in water.
