Be cautious! Don’t look to purchase a vehicle from Allen Honda, the sales staff are dishonest and their vehicle pricing online and on the sticker is deceptive, the price listed is thousands less than the actual price they are selling the vehicle for. Riddle me this: I made an appointment for a known recall/SB 20-058 for Honda Odyssey's 18-20. Appointment was at 10am. We drop the van off minutes prior to appointment. We spend the next 5 hours doing random things around town waiting to hear from Allen Honda. We never do. We stop by and I ask for an update...very politely. Went in bc I had an appointment for a specific vehicle. Get there for them to tell me the truck just sold and crack a joke saying an hour and a half earlier it would have been yours. Mind you they never called to let me know they had started paperwork on the vehicle for someone else before I showed up. Typical fast cash car dealer. I’ll take this 5k down payment elsewhere.
I tried to get information about a used Honda civic 2011. I couldn’t get anyone to answer my questions. It was as if they didn’t want my business. I even shared my disappointment through the chat and an email. And I never got any kind of reply. I’ve heard great things about Allen Honda so I was very disappointed. Editing to add - After posting the review, they did call and give a genuine apology. It appears to have been technical difficulties with the chat and text. I appreciate their apology.
We went to Allen Honda (with three young kids in tow) to buy a used Accord. The ad online said every used car came with their Blue Advantage certification program (essentially one year warranty). It did not say there was an additional charge for this. (When we bought our certified used car from BCS Toyota, there was not an additional cost). After my wife's family and myself have purchased a total of 8 Hondas at this dealership I will absolutely never do business with such a shady organization. What I just went through was pure theft and I am disgusted that a dealership that has been around for 40 years allows this to take place. Stopped in to look at a car for my family. A salesman came out and asked me if he could help. I explained my situation and he proceeded to show me things that would not fit my needs. I tried to leave because he clearly wasn’t listening to me. He told me to wait and went to get a manager. The manager came out and was rude. He asked me personal questions and assumed my gender. Then he asked if I would like a squishy? And looked at me with rapey eyes. Please save yourself the hassle.
Walked into the dealership last week and I was interested in one of the vehicles in the show room. I was passed by 4 employees and not a single employee said hello, hi, or anything to me. After standing there for about 15 minutes it seemed like I wasn’t worth the time or energy and I decided to take my business elsewhere.
