Updated Previous review deleted. Bank didn't approve the loan, stating, "Value of vehicle is insufficient relative to requested loan amount" and gave a lower counter-offer. So the car was returned. I did not get my deposit back - part of which was the money for the monthly payment for my trade-in that was due just over 2 weeks later. And my trade-in was returned minus the floor mats, window visor deflectors, and inspection/emission stickers (the car was just inspected less than 3 weeks prior). Lack of care to customer safety I purchased a 2009 Nissan Versa Hatchback. I have no problems with the price of the car, but When you sale a car with 3 bad tires and 1 new tire on it and a broken fender liner you wonder why this dealership would put their customer in possible danger with refusal to rectify either problem. I was willing to even buy tires from them if they would at least mount and balance them for me for free. The manager said no. Bad things do happen to good people. Prestons’ claim to “Finance your future, not your past” is legitimate in the sense that there are lenders willing to finance people that face financial hardship. All dealers have access to these lenders. The “Construction and Touchdown Sale TV Infomercials” leads you to believe that Preston is different offers great prices and has compassion for disadvantaged buyers offering “Top Dollar” for your trade and the ability to get even the most challenged credit financed.
