I have purchased many autos over the years but have never had as good of an experience as i did on January 8th 2011 at Fields Volkswagen in Lakeland Fl. I was searching all of Florida for a used C6 Corvette in excellent condition for several months. Dishonest company. Sold me a vehicle that had significant mechanical issues without advising. Car was inoperable within 3 days of purchase and they told me I was overreacting and they couldn’t be responsible for every little thing that came up after a sale. Did not offer me a trade or rental til I got vehicle fixed. Took the vehicle to another dealership and have already had two batteries replaced. The shop has had the vehicle longer than I have. I took my car to replace water pump I was charged 2,300 super expensive plus I got the car back super dirty inside and outside with mud everywhere
The manager Gio was incredibly rude and condescending. He was unwilling to hear what we were saying. Said he would call us back after speaking to service then he did not. If we had not been FORCED to use this dealer due to being where the vw towing would bring the car we would never use it. The only good thing is their service reps. Ashley Giselle and Saul were amazing and beyond helpful. Terrible experience, oil changes over 4 hours. Promised a make up appointment never was booked
Second time bringing my car for the same issue to be trike “it magically fixed itself (twice)” and that the problem will happen again so just tow it back when it happens. Very frustrating when you are paying so much for a brand new car and given no resolution. And then also lied to saying things were done that were proven not to be done at all. Car came back with damage that wasn’t on it before and no answers or resolutions. Had to take it to another dealer an hour away a few days later.
Communication was poor. My car was not completed by the communicated time and nobody contacted me. I showed up and they were not able to resolve to situation. I was left without a car for an additional day. Also suggested fixes like interior cabin filter that had been completed within the Last 30 days.
Overall satisfied except very disappointed in military discount of only $15.00 off a bill over $900.00
Very slow. Very expensive. Oil change cost does not include tire rotation even though you get one every 10k miles. People didn't seem to know how to answer questions asked.
