Lied to to get me in the door. I had financing set up with a lender already and told them that and instead they ran my credit thru 5 other lenders (not once with the lender I had the deal set up with) all without agreeing to numbers including my trade on paper. Which by the way before I came into the store, the person assured me that they had numbers ready from the manager that were what I was looking for to make a deal. (That was a lie) . My wife’s car was said to be ready after having it for over 12 months for an oil leak they never repaired. I was told many times that they were going to work it into the rotation in the course of the time they had it just for it not to actually get done. Fast forward to finally throwing my hands up and getting my vehicle back. Took car to Hyundai service department to have checked out after driving through water, called ahead to set up appointment, explained to Allie the entire situation down to what happened; was told absolutely no problem, bring it to them and they would get me fixed up. upon arrival, after calling wrecker to take the car, they told me I had already been there and they denied my car. no, we had just arrived. We purchased a 2020 Subaru Ascent in late January 2024 and were shocked when we found out very shortly after that we were facing about $2000 worth of service work within the next 5,000 miles. The salesman did not mention this, or the fact that this subaru is very expensive to maintain. Great car, just wish we had been more informed at purchase.

Went in for a free oil change. Definitely not free. They mislead you just to make a sale. Took my car yesterday for oil change and rotation. Left paying over 300$. They changed air filter and cabin filter a d noticed acorns in the cabin filter. The service manager come and told me there was no way to tell if acorns were in the blower unless I let them go through the dash or some BS. I don’t have Oak trees anywhere near my house or workplace. I have lived in the same house since 2007 and 4 cars. Never had a problem. ... read more

I took my friend to Jim Burke bc I had purchased a vehicle there recently and was excited to get her in a car she loved for a great price. HOWEVER, this last time I was there, the experience was subpar to say the least. When my friend and I went, we test drove several cars. Daquan Jackson was absolutely wonderful and showed us several cars and gave us numbers. Was lied to when I was told that I had lifetime wiper blades for my2018 Subaru. Would not honor what I was told when I bought the car. Will never deal with Jim Burke Automotive again. In reading the other negative post I don't see that this dealership is doing anything to win back customers.

I called and went to Jim Burke Nissan downtown Birmingham to request a simple check of transmission fluid in my vehicle I am being told that this particular vehicle which is a 2010 Nissan rogue has to have the transmission fluid checked by the dealership authorized dealership they are telling me in order to check the fluid level it is $146 that is an out rage I don’t know who came up with the craziness but I need to check your cells to check the fluidI’ll $146 that’s not asking for any work to be done simply a fluid check th... read more
