Everything is a hassle at Whiteman Chevrolet. Make an appointment four weeks in advance get the service manager involved and still they don’t have the parts that I need to get back on the road. Tell them the importance of getting my Friday drop off vehicle back same day or Saturday and it’s looking more like Tuesday with nothing fixed. Go somewhere else. Save yourself the hassle.
Every single person that I know who has purchased a vehicle from this dealership has reported a bad experience.

This was Art’s truck. They only appraised it for $43,000. I had to pay the difference to end the lease. These guys are a bunch of crooks. It is immaculate they did not have to do anything except wash it. Now the asking price is $48,000!! This is what Whiteman Chevrolet did to a widow only days after losing her husband!!

I saw a few bad reviews and I should of listened to them. This is indeed a stealership. After asking if they can complete the task not once but twice they confirmed they could. After 3 hour wait and then being charged. I get in the car to realize it was not done. They charged $120 and wasted 3 hours of my time to reset my radio that you can do in the settings option. Save your time and money and go somewhere else.
Unfortunately this place is the closest Chevy dealership near me. Never again will I ever come to such a awful dealership. DePaula is 100% worth the drive after the experience I had today. I had my wiper blades replaced and they charged me $50.00 for them. One broke after 2 uses! I went to have it replaced again, and the “manager” from parts told me they must of been “out of the good ones, so they put after market ones on”. I am really disappointed with how I was treated at Whitman. My Chevy Tahoe was towed there by Chevy Roadside. I called ahead to alert the service department that it was on the way. The battery was completely dead. They called me at the end of the day and said they were unable to find a problem. When I went to pick the car up the next day it had been left unlocked on the lot. Attention Senior Citizens!!! Very very unhappy with the way this dealership and its staff (aside from the sales person Jamie who was great) handled our sale. I am also a local dealer in plattsburgh NY. Recently stopped while car shopping. We had only stopped to take a look at the used cars onsite. We had a budget in mind and whitemans was NOT our only stop that day.
