bought a used truck there that had mechanical issues unknown to me. now the truck needs major repairs. AND NOW ITS BEEN 2 WEEKS AND THE WARRANTY WONT COVER THE REPAIR. IM LEFT HOLDING THE BAG FOR WHAT MAY BE A 5000 DOLLAR PLUS REPAIR. WAS SUPPOSED TO GO ON VACATION STILL HAVENT GOT AN ANSWER FROM THE DEALERSHIP. THEY CLAIM TO DONATE MILLIONS OF DOLLARS BUT WONT HELP ME ONE BIT. DO NOT BUY A USED VEHICLE HERE AS THEY DO NOT FULLY INSPECT THEM AND THE PRICES ARE HIGH FOR WHAT THEY ARE.
My husband was looking at Preston’s website and saw a 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4xe Sahara 4WD Sport Utility on the website that had $16,000 off. He drove past it Friday evening and saw it was right out front and it had $16,000 off written on the windshield along with another silver Jeep that had $13,000 off. Dishonest sales people ,bought Jeep online and they delivered it to me. And as I was exited to get it and after looking it was missing a bunch of stuff that was in the ad, after calling them they said the price was adjusted for the missing items 2k power running boards no 2nd key fob 300$ freedom storage bag 200$ blue tooth speaker 350$. I have never been so insulted and disrespected. Bought a used Jeep in March with a brand new front driveshaft under it. Long story short,,was in Conneaut Lake Pa. on Wednesday when the same drive shaft seized and was unable to be driven. Limped it to Lake Road Auto who the diagnosed and said the part was disabled but still should be under warranty. Mind you I have less than 10,000 miles on the vehicle since purchase. Assuming this is the Preston Dodge ram dealer in New Caste Pennsylvania, I would say my recent experiences over the last month have been extremely negative. I pre-paid for parts over a month ago and so far none of four people that have promised to call me back have done so. It appears the service department can’t talk with the parts department. Staff who say they will check status and call back haven’t. Voice mails to managers have gone unanswered. This is about as poor of a customer experience as you can possibly get.
FYI make sure you get a second consult if you go there for an inspection, and don't wait until the last minute for a inspection. Go at least a month before but I strongly advise you to find a honest place to go !!!

Service department is absolutely horrendous. Completely unorganized and really needs attention. Anytime Preston’s has had any of my vehicles it’s been a disaster. If it wasn’t for the fact that it is the closest Jeep Ram dealer I would never take a car there and never will again. I will honestly pay more to have a vehicle taken to a different dealer from here on out. I highly urge ownership to take a deep dive into the mess of a service center it is. If you need any service done I would highly recommend taking elsewhere.

Made an appointment to get my vehicle a state inspection, waited 4 hours with no communication on what was going on with my vehicle/the status of my vehicle.
