Didn't know they were no longer New Country Subaru until I showed up in their Service Department. There was a recall on my car and I needed my first inspection. They wouldn't honor a free oil change coupon that was given to me back when I purchased my car. Apparently, Mackey took over about a year ago and the coupon says New Country. I have a lot of mixed feelings about this place. Nick P., the salesman, was good. Helpful, kind, great rapport, knew everything about the cars. I chose the car I wanted and waited. Over a week goes by, and the end of the month comes. They found me a car on Long Island and had to have it driven up (putting miles on the car, I didn't mind, but it was a little surprising and came very last minute). My experience with this outfit was originally satisfactory but when my vehicle was paid in full before the month the manager Jeff McCarthy was dishonest, irresponsible and untrustworthy in his dealings with my Return of Warranty monies. It's very disappointing because Mike the salesperson who took care of me was SUPER in everything. Been waiting over a month for a call from the general manager. I regulated a call from the general manager because they lied about returning my deposit. There is just no reason why a call from the general manager should take that long. If the general manager does not care about customer service then you know the sales staff does not.

I bought a car here under old dealership name and was extremely pleased. However, I just watched one of the employees sporting the shirt of the new ownership pull into a parking lot nearby, hop out and smoke a cigarette, throw his still lit cigarette on the ground, hop in and speed off. Bought a $54,000 truck on 3/04/2019 from out of state and still have no plate as of 4/26/2019. I called several times and left messages, spoke to Norma who is the absolute rudest woman I have ever come across. How she has a job there is unreal. Made an appointment to see three cars. One had been sold before my request. The others were not ready and Neil the sales person disappear with my car keys never appraised my car finally came out I had to ask about truck he had no keys. Then went back in cam out with one key for wrong car. Then was gone even longer and sent someone else out. It was an easy sale I wanted the car they still had but no way am I giving them a dollar!! Don't wast your time with this group. New country never would have sone this
