This place is amazing! Neil Callahan helped me find a car and finance in just a few hours. I drove out with the car and price range I wanted! Neil was honest, down to earth, and really met me where I was at to help me find the perfect fit! I spoke with sales, service, and finance that day and they all were kind, respectful and supportive. I highly recommend stopping by to see all they have to offer!

These folks have been great! They're friendly, prompt, and are able to fix my subaru when other places just seem confused and overwhelmed "what? no dipstick!?" Per usual I give major bonus points for small convenience elements - they have free bananas and coffee in the clean, bright waiting room, they are willing to drive me to work when I need it, and my my car needed major work they gave me a *banging* loaner. This review is for the Subaru repair now under new Mackey ownership. Brought the Subaru in for a problem with the tires and an oil change that was due. They asked if the antifreeze had been changed/flushed under normal maintenance - the answer was no - so they recommended doing so. (Turns out that I should have looked at the manual - they did it at a mileage expressly NOT recommended in the manual). I would give zero stars if that was an option. I went in to buy a car and from the start it was an unprofessional environment. Nobody seemed to be bothered to help me and everyone was vaping. THEN I overheard the manager Scott make a racist comment about other customers in the store. I will NEVER be shopping here for a car. I advise you take your money else where.
Within a minute of my walking into the building, I saw four salespeople walking around the Subaru showroom without masks. We're in a pandemic, and the lack of concern for customer safety is astounding to me. They have plastic barriers set up, but they don't help much when salespeople are walking around the showroom unmasked. The Service Department members were wearing masks, and I appreciated that. I talked to the sales manager about my discomfort, and he was unapologetic, unconcerned, and dismissive.
I had the displeasure of dealing with Mackey Auto Group AKA Saratoga Ford. On 10/12/20 I left a $500.00 deposit on a 2013 F150. I scheduled to pick the vehicle up on Saturday 10/17. I rented a car to go to the dealership as it is 3 hours away from where I live. As I was almost half way there on the 17th I got a phone call that I could not pick up the vehicle because they were unable to register it. Went in to look at a couple of used cars. Took them almost 45 minutes to find the keys after I had scheduled an appointment for a specific time. I found them to be very inflexible on pricing. Like, I made an offer on a car and they didn't even counter my offer, and it's not like I was asking for a $3k discount. Beyond that, I found their adherence to Covid-19 protocols wanting. Everyone at Sartaoga Subaru was friendly but ultimately unprofessional. I put down a deposit on a lease. All funding was cleared. The car was then sold out from under me, in spite of my deposit. No one contacted me to let me know. I had to track down info, only to hear the bad news at the 11th hour.
