This is going to be long and detailed so for those who don't want to read the entire thing just take my advice and NEVER use the service department at this dealership unless it's free. The labor fee is higher than any other mechanic around and unfortunately the diagnosis on my vehicle was incorrect. One of the items I wanted looked at was not fixed. I have no idea how this place has stayed in business, as the service has become atrocious over the last 7 years. I have take 3+ vehicles there over 17 years, and the last one took them 2.5 months to get fixed. Then they argued with me about paying for the rental since it was a Ford problem with the parts, not insurance. Then I take another vehicle in today and the front desk lady tells me she can't help me b/c Verizon service doesn't work in their office so she can't get my estimate via email. Billy Howell Ford. Never Again. Although the purchase and delivery of my vehicle in December 2016 was an easy no hassle experience, this dealer by far has the most dismal and disappointing service department I have experienced. In 2017 the seat heater failed. I was told they would call to schedule the replacement when the part arrived. THEY NEVER CALLED ME BACK. So it took 2 months yes two months for me to get my car back for a rear bumper. They just kept sayinglarts weren't in and then people took vacations and then people quit. Etc. Etc. Then they gave me attitude about it.
Horrible service and no communication. Originally told I would get my vehicle back in 2 weeks. Car had side body damage, no engine repair. Every time I called to check on progress, they would tell me another week and a half. Then they finally give me a day it will be ready. Called that day and was told another 4 days. They never call me on the day its supposed to be ready and give me an update or to let me know it will be longer. Worst experience at a body shop. WORST customer experience EVER... plus shop is a dump. Estimator took my Camaro, did paperwork, promised to call with an estimate in 3 days. NOTHING. Called a week later... voicemail, NO CALL BACK. Emailed... NO RESPONSE. This back and forth went on for nearly 2 weeks. Finally at Enterprise car rental we find out "oh, our computer says your car is in final paint, will be ready to pick up in two days." We didn't approve estimate.
