As a Black woman, never have I felt so dismissed in my life. I came in because I had a nail in my tire — something simple that should’ve been handled with care and respect. Other tire shops wouldn’t touch the tires because they were old, but I have Toyota Care, and my previous service dealer always honored my contract without issue. Went In with no appointment, the only sales person available was already with a customer , Miguel landeros immediately came to greet me and my family and had the car brought to us we came to see while he finished his deal with another customer . Extremely professional and very down to earth , got us a good deal on a used Highlander, everyone we met was really nice . Down to the person who washed the suv for us . She went above and beyond even cleaning the engine bay
First timer at this Toyota. I had an appointment and bought my car in on a weekday for an oil change. While this location offers no frills (e.g., water cooler, no fancy coffee, no comp wash), the price was right and the estimated wait time of 1.5 hrs was spot on. Ryan, our service advisor was very knowledgeable and helpful which I appreciate.
Miguel Landeros is THE BEST!! He helped me look at all of the different cars and he was so helpful throughout the entire experience! He has an amazing sense of humor and he will help you with any questions from the initial look of the vehicle to the signing of the vehicle! He is such a kind and helpful person and I'm happy he is the one that assisted me through this process. If you want amazing service, the best ever, ASK FOR MIGUEL!! He will not disappoint!
I found my truck at Toyota of Berkeley, but the purchase experience was one of the worst I've had with any dealership. 1. My appointment was rescheduled with less than an hour's notice. A small inconvenience, but it set the wrong tone for what followed. 2. The truck had visible issues that were not disclosed upfront (before I flew in from San Diego): a windshield chip, a passenger mirror that did not sit flush, and dirty door weather stripping.
