Miguel Landeros is THE BEST!! He helped me look at all of the different cars and he was so helpful throughout the entire experience! He has an amazing sense of humor and he will help you with any questions from the initial look of the vehicle to the signing of the vehicle! He is such a kind and helpful person and I'm happy he is the one that assisted me through this process. If you want amazing service, the best ever, ASK FOR MIGUEL!! He will not disappoint!
I found my truck at Toyota of Berkeley, but the purchase experience was one of the worst I've had with any dealership. 1. My appointment was rescheduled with less than an hour's notice. A small inconvenience, but it set the wrong tone for what followed. 2. The truck had visible issues that were not disclosed upfront (before I flew in from San Diego): a windshield chip, a passenger mirror that did not sit flush, and dirty door weather stripping. As usual, always a pleasant experience!! I had my car’s maintenance done, but since I had a lot of stuff to do I decided to rent a car from them. They have great customer service, and they made the car rental experience so smooth and easy. Another plus is that my car was returned in record time. I came in genuinely interested in a car and open to doing business. What I did not expect was to walk away feeling blindsided and dismissed. The salesperson ran a hard inquiry on my credit without clearly communicating the impact it would have. I was told it was only a SOFT INQUIRY, so I signed the paper without reading it.
