Today, Sunday Jan 25th, I visited Downtown Toyota of Oakland and had a great experience. We were met promptly by a sales person named, Omari. He was well informed, personable, and patient. He asked us what we were looking for and walked us through the lot and showed us their various options. He had personality and wasn't pushy or aggressive. This was not a good experience being a new customer there. I waited extra days for parts to be ordered, then no call backs. Then they "found" something else wrong & wanted to charge me double the going rate for this service. I only authorized the 1 part of the service needed, since they merged unnecessary items in that estimate & argued with me over the phone and wouldn't finish without approval for the rest. Service was good and people were kind. I really like scheduling a Wait appointment as it’s usually done in 2 to 3 hours. They also were able to take care of a recall as the parts were already in Stock. Thank you to Berkeley service center in Albany!
My girlfriend and I were interested in a toyota camry they had. We test drive it and once we were convice, TRISTAN was the gentleman who helped us with all the paperwork and financing, we had such a great experience at the dealer, such a kind and knowledgeable guy.
