Service for the first oil change went fine. However, I'm not be fan of being told of a credit card fee when paying the bill. No signs posted of their policy anywhere. I wasn't charged a credit card fee when I purchased separate items for the car in the inital car purchase. Guess its something that they do whenever they feel like it. I'll try North Country Subaru for my next service and compare.
I've been going here for years, they do great work, often same-day, very knowledgeable staff. Like any dealer, tho, it's not the cheapest option. However, they've always been helpful to me especially in emergencies. I also like that they tell me what they see as far as needed repairs, that's helpful. Not everyone feels that way, but I'd rather know, maybe get a second opinion & make an informed decision of how best to do the necessary repairs. Took car in for oil change and received fantastic service. No appointment needed. Full inspection and tire rotation. Beth and Kelsey did a great job getting me through and keeping me informed. I ran the 7 miles home and the car was ready even more I got there (my wife drove me back for the pick up; I can't run 14 miles these days). Saw this eagle in a tree behind the Wilton Mall.
My car trouble was not truly diagnosed and they installed a new battery that did not solve the problem. $667 and they blamed a body shop that did work on my car. Turned out they missed that a bsd sensor was corroded. The body shop replaced it for me, even though it had nothing to do with the work I had done four months prior. The root of the issue with my car was not addressed and I’ve been waiting for a call back for almost a week.
Great place to purchase a car. Nick Dane, Sales Representative is very pleasant and knowledgeable. Large selection of Subarus. And, they also have an excellent Service Team. Nice customer waiting area. Overall, highly recommend Romeo Subaru dealership and service too.
